Crystal manufacturer Arnolfo di Cambio was founded in 1963, in the Tuscan town of Colle di Val d’Elsa, central Italy, an area full of tradition in the working and production of glass and crystal. In its founding, the choice of the name and area was not considered accidental. In fact, the crystal manufacturer actually chose to continue this connection to tradition, also by giving the company the name of the famous sculptor and architect of 1200, Arnolfo di Cambio, born in this area of Tuscany, which still contains some of his styles and works.

Founders Bruno and Gilberto Bagnasacco, and the collaboration of glass master Vasco Conti, who, in the 8Os became an integral and fundamental part of Arnolfo diCambio, lead the company in its growth and in the artistic quality of its crystal. The company then went on to concentrate on technological innovation for the production of lead crystal, at that time not present in Colle di Val d’Elsa, which was still tied to the production of sonorous glass.
